Coolville Elementary

Hello, Coolville Elementary School!

This is a space for teachers, students, and families to find resources that complement your STEAM Packs for Students (brought to you by the Ohio Valley Museum of Discovery, Community Food Initiatives, and Central Ohio Music Therapy). Special thanks to OVMoD Board members, volunteers from Ohio University Credit Union, and Athens High School National Honor Society for their help in packing the kits.

Inside of your bag, you will find a paper booklet full of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) activities plus most of the supplies to be able to do those activities at school or at home. If you have a question about the STEAM packs you can ask your classroom teacher, or feel free to email us:

STEAM packs for Students are divided into grade bands – one for kindergarten, first, and second grade students, another for third and fourth grade students, and the last for fifth and sixth graders.

Resources for each activity are listed in the table below. Closed captioning is available for videos in YouTube by clicking the closed caption (cc) option at the bottom of each individual video.

When you complete your STEAM pack, we would greatly appreciate your help in improving our programs by filling out a survey. Surveys can be returned:

  • to teachers OR
  • by emailing photos of both sides of the survey to survey@ovmod.org OR
  • by completing the survey online

Teachers – please help us out by filling out a survey here, or returning a photo of a paper copy by emailing survey@ovmod.org, or by contacting us to come pick up paper copies at school.

Thank you all and we hope you enjoy the STEAM packs!
