Discovery Lab Workshops
Discovery Lab workshops at the museum typically focus on middle and high school-aged participants and cover a wide range of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) topics with an emphasis on hands-on exploration.
They are held on the 3rd Saturday of the month. Keep an eye on our newsletter, this page, and social media for upcoming workshops.

Discovery Lab - Makerspace

Join us Saturday, November 1, for Discovery Lab Makerspace from 10 AM-12 noon! The featured build will be hydraulics! We’ll have plans for ”Judo bots,” a hydraulic crane, or a hydraulic claw in addition to the various cars from last time! Pick a project and explore!
Focused on teens and tweens, younger museum visitors (2nd-4th grade) can also participate with an adult (for safety reasons). Available for any paid museum visitor or museum member.
This is an open format, so you can show up any time between 10 AM and noon to work on a project.
Available for any paid museum visitor or museum member.
They are held on the 1st Saturday of the month. Keep an eye on our newsletter, this page, and social media for info.
